Warehouse Clerk - Materials HandlerThis is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in Shreveport, LouisianaPay Rate: $18 - $27 /hr depending on experience plus overtime, Medical, Dental and Vision under a W-2 Contract to HireCurrent Available Shifts:Day Shift: 7am - 5:30pm (Monday - Thursday) With some mandatory overtime on FridaysNight Shift: 5pm - 3:30am (Monday - Friday) - $3 shift diff. With some required work days on Friday night into Saturday morningAll contractors must train on the weekday day shift (Monday - Friday, 7am - 5:30pm) for at least 3 weeks and then will be moved to the night shift during the week or stay on the weekday day shift if that is the shift they were hired for.Job Summary:The Materials Handler is responsible for executing material handling and for movement within the facility in compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards.Issue and transfer parts for production.Assist Production Planner and assembly stores whenever required.Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.Qualifications and Experience:High school diploma or general educational development (GED)Excellent problem-solving, verbal/written communication and organizational skills.Experience in supply chain warehousing activities or equivalent roles are preferred.3-5 years of forklift experience.Note that if you get hired you must undergo a background check, a driving records check and a drug screeningCompany Details:UpTalent Miami, Florida, United States UpTalent provides a full suite of talent solutions that solves every workforce challenge.
