Material Handler

Hire Up Staffing is seeking a dependable, hardworking Material Handler to join a warehouse team in Shreveport, Louisiana! If you enjoy staying active, working in a fast-paced environment, and keeping things organized, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Pay: $17.00–$19.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse or worksite.
• Pick orders and distribute materials and supplies as requested.
• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and hand trucks.
• Pack and prepare customer orders for accurate and efficient shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow safety procedures and warehouse guidelines.

Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift, push, carry, and move packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable standing and moving throughout the warehouse during the shift.
• Ability to read labels, order tickets, and written instructions.
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be available to work full-time, Monday through Friday.
